Ordering
Gear purchases run through the league so quality and budget stay consistent.
Coordinator input needed: who approves purchases per sport, preferred vendors, and lead times (uniforms especially — they need to arrive before team-bag assembly). If you handle ordering for your sport, please send this page what you know.
Distribution
- Gear reaches coaches through team bags picked up at the League House before the season.
- Uniforms are the same across seasons — remind parents that last season’s shorts, socks, and shin guards are reusable, which saves changing at the field and stretches league inventory.
- Sizing: ask parents early whether a child runs small or large for their age and arrange the uniform lineup accordingly — it minimizes poor fits and swaps.
- Only rostered players get uniforms. No exceptions — rosters in TeamSnap are the source of truth.
Sharing & Returns
- Extra protective gear (shin guards, and sport-specific items like goalie equipment) may be available beyond the standard age-group provision — ask your commissioner rather than buying out of pocket.
- Anything league-owned goes back to the League House at season’s end: unclaimed uniforms, unused first aid stock, shared protective gear.
Field & Rink Gear
Nets, goals, corner flags, cones, and similar shared equipment live at the venues or the League House depending on the sport and season.
Coordinator input needed: per-venue setup/teardown expectations (who puts up nets, where cones live, what stays out overnight) — today this travels by word of mouth; it belongs here.
